THE EXPERIENCE:

On 30 September and 1 October, two acclaimed wineries from opposite sides of the world, Cloudy Bay and Terrazas de los Andes, come together in Rhodes for an exploration of place, craft and character. Their wines will be brought to life through an intimate masterclass and two specially curated dinners by Michelin-starred Chef Alex Tsiotinis and Chef Thanos Stasinos.

From the cool landscapes of New Zealand’s Marlborough region to the high-altitude vineyards of Mendoza, the final voyage of the season invites guests to discover two very different expressions of winemaking, united by an enduring connection to the land.

About the Wineries

Cloudy Bay

Established in 1985, Cloudy Bay was among the first wineries to reveal the potential of New Zealand’s Marlborough region to the world. Renowned for its vibrant Sauvignon Blanc and refined Pinot Noir, the winery creates wines defined by precision, purity and a profound sense of place.

Terrazas de los Andes

Set at the foothills of the Andes, Terrazas de los Andes captures the distinctive character of Mendoza through high-altitude winemaking. With decades of expertise across vineyards planted at different elevations, the winery is particularly celebrated for its Malbec and Chardonnay, bringing together Argentinian character and French winemaking heritage.

The Programme

Wednesday, 30 September

Wine Tasting Masterclass Elissa Executive Lounge | 19:00–20:00

The journey begins with an intimate exploration of Cloudy Bay and Terrazas de los Andes, guided by Wine Director Nikolas Giannopoulos and Champagne Educator Ted Lelekas. Discover the terroirs, philosophies and winemaking practices behind a curated selection of wines from New Zealand and Argentina.

Dinner at Fourni | 20:00–23:00

The evening continues at Fourni with Michelin-starred Chef Alex Tsiotinis, presenting a specially curated menu inspired by contemporary Greek cuisine. Each course is thoughtfully paired to reveal and complement the distinctive character of the featured wines.

Thursday, 1 October

Dinner at Masari | 20:00–23:00

For the final evening, Chef Thanos Stasinos brings his distinctive culinary perspective to Masari. Drawing on global influences and his approach to Nikkei cuisine, the menu unfolds through vibrant flavours, layered contrasts and carefully considered wine pairings.

One Final Voyage

From Marlborough to Mendoza and, finally, Rhodes, this two-day experience brings the 2026 season of Culinary Voyages at Ella Elissa to a close through the stories of winemakers, chefs and the places that inspire their craft.

Two wineries. Two culinary perspectives. One final voyage.
