THE EXPERIENCE:

Ella Alkyna, welcomes chef Alex Tsiotinis, Michelin-starred and widely regarded for his refined, contemporary approach to Greek cuisine. Known for his precision and ingredient-led philosophy, his presence at Ella Alkyna introduces a rare and distinct culinary perspective, expressive yet restrained, rooted in clarity and balance. 

The evening begins with a wine masterclass indoors at Nafs restaurant, where the wines of Avantis Estate are introduced through their structure, varietal character and deep connection to place. Founded in 1994 and based in Evia, the estate is known for its pioneering approach and its ability to bridge Greek terroir with a contemporary winemaking vision, where freshness, aromatic clarity and structure define each expression. 

As the experience moves into Nafs, the culinary and wine narratives align. Chef’s Alex Tsiotinis cuisine unfolds in harmony with the evolving light, precise, seasonal and quietly layered, while Avantis wines reveal their full character, moving between brightness and depth with natural ease. The result is a composition that feels both grounded and elevated, shaped equally by craft and setting. 

THE SETTING:

The evening begins by the pool, where the first encounter with wine is framed by open sky and soft light, a moment of ease that gradually transitions into something more immersive. 

At Nafs, Ella Alkyna’s signature sunset restaurant, the experience reaches its full expression. Overlooking the Ionian Sea, the setting carries a quiet sense of theatre, where horizon, water and sky shift continuously, and each course unfolds against a changing backdrop.
